Description

• Supervise and support daily operations of the maintenance team, including the foreman and irrigation technicians.
• Plan and manage weekly work schedules and task assignments.
• Assist in executing agronomic programs including fertilization and irrigation plans.
• Ensure proper chemical and fertilizer application and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, and chemicals.
• Conduct and document staff safety meetings regularly.
• Support equipment maintenance and perform hands-on tasks as needed (mowing, spraying, etc.).
• Track fuel and irrigation usage logs and report accordingly.
• Assist with budget planning and expense tracking.

• 1-3 years of turfgrass management experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word and Excel).
• Passion for the golf course industry and willingness to grow professionally.
• Working knowledge of budgeting, recordkeeping, and inventory systems.

• Outdoor work in varied weather conditions (heat, cold, pollen, etc.).
• Exposure to mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards.
• Physically demanding role with regular lifting (up to 60lbs), walking, bending, crouching, and climbing.
