- Systems Engineer

At MLT, we create solutions by empowering our people to fulfill their passion for service. In support of Product Manager Engineer Systems, we are seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in supporting DOW Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/principles/organizational protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Support two (2) Government engineers across multiple projects and priorities.
- Assist Government engineers with requirements development, traceability, maintenance, and incorporation of test results.
- Assist with tracking engineering tasks, actions, schedules, and deliverables.
- Support preparation, execution, documentation, action tracking, and closure of Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events; preparation, execution, and closure to the Government, to include development, review and updating required documentation for all phases of SETR events.
- Support Test & Evaluation (T&E) planning, TRRs, test documentation, test execution, post-test analysis, and incorporation of results into applicable engineering products.
- Support the Systems Engineering Working-level Integrated Product Teams (WIPTs) by collaborating with relevant stakeholders to define, develop, and maintain the strategy, plans, and schedule.
- Assist with technical support and input regarding applicable Systems Engineering concepts such that Government personnel will be able to incorporate that input into applicable program activities.
- Assist with development, review, and maintenance of systems engineering and acquisition documentation.
- Assist with Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), electronic TEMPs (eTEMPs), and Annexes test strategies, detailed test plans, test procedures and test schedules.
- Research acquisition/engineering issues and develop initial recommendations or draft products for Government review.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 2-4 years of relevant engineering, DoW acquisition, T&E, or technical program experience
Specific/PreferredRequirements:
- Secret Clearance preferred. Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required.
- This position is not eligible for remote work or 100% telework.
- Working knowledge or familiarity with applicable DoD acquisition and systems engineering policies and processes; ability to research and apply applicable guidance.
- Experience considering overall project design including cost, schedule, and social issues that may be associated with a project.
- Experience in applying systems engineering principles.
- Adept at pulling information from various data sources (information systems and key personnel) to synthesize coherent responses to tasks (typically quick turnaround) for review and submission.
- Familiarity with CMPro, Risk Exchange+, and Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2).
- Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
- Proactive, able to collaborate, present, and disseminate technical and non-technical information to peers, customers, leadership, and external agencies as required.
- Ability to adapt to fast paced and changing environment.
- Experience preparing and delivering presentations and briefing.
- Excellent communication skills both in both oral and written.
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear, and to use hands and arms for routine work tasks. The employee may occasionally lift or move items up to 30 pounds. Vision abilities required include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.

This position is performed in a typical indoor office setting with a quiet to moderate noise level.
