Description
Our client is the Hong Kong branch office of an established multinational bank.Responsibilities:
- Oversee, advise, and execute licensing activities for both institutions and individuals, ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth approval processes.
- Track regulatory developments and maintain robust mechanisms to manage all relevant regulatory requirements effectively.
- Work with compliance advisors and stakeholders to ensure regulatory requirements are implemented correctly and consistently.
- Produce management information and reports on compliance status, risks, and recommendations; provide guidance and training to staff on compliance policies and procedures.
- Proactively escalate critical compliance risks with actionable mitigation plans, and coordinate global/regional compliance projects across the organization.
Requirements:
- Degree holder with at least 10 years of relevant experience in compliance in the banking industry/ consultancy.
- Experience in dealing with regulatory bodies and good knowledge on laws and regulations relates to the banking industry.
- Fluency in English and Chinese.
