Description

Job Duties:

• Independently review complex counterparty credit exposures across various financial products and present recommendations to risk committees

• Oversee the collateral and margin framework to ensure effective management of counterparty risk

• Monitor and manage counterparty exposures at both individual and portfolio levels, identifying emerging risks and concentration concerns

• Review and enhance counterparty credit risk policies, including limit setting, collateral arrangements, and legal documentation

• Identify early warning signs of counterparty credit deterioration and recommend timely risk mitigation measures

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices

• Lead, mentor, and develop the counterparty risk team, fostering a high-performance culture

• Handle other ad-hoc projects or assignments as directed by the Department Head

Job Requirements:

• University graduate in Finance, Risk Management or related disciplines;

• Good knowledge and experience of credit risk management;

• Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua;

• Proficiency in MS office applications, with knowledge of any coding language preferred;

• Diligent, proactive and with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills;

• CFA and/or FRM qualifications is a plus;

• Over 10 years' relevant experience in financial sector or related industries, and at least over 5 years' in managerial role.
