Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year License: NMTCB or ARRT N required; ACLS, ARRT R preferred Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: Cross posting for Nuclear Medicine Tech positions. 1st time travelers accepted. No call, no weekends. Shift times are slightly variable between 6AM and 8AM. 1 year of experience required. BLS and NMTCB or ARRT N required; ACLS and ARRT R preferred. Epic experience is required. The unit encompasses General Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT, including Cardiac PET with Rubidium. Preferred skills include experience with Synapse PACS, Cardiology PACS, and various types of scans such as bone, liver, spleen, lung, renal flow, shunt, thyroid studies, tumor localization, SPECT, and Myocardial. Dress code includes black scrubs. Candidates who live within 70 miles from the facility are considered locals and will not be accepted. Travelers will need to complete an OSHA Respirator Clearance and Fit Testing. Travelers must shave for a mask to ensure proper Fit Testing. Failure to shave for Fit Testing will result in cancellation. All clinicians cannot work past 1 year as a traveler and must take a 6-month break to return as a traveler. Modules are not billable and hours may vary. Allied modules are approximately 1 hour in duration. Modules are completed pre-start and are recorded on transcripts.
