Description

Prisma Health, the largest health system in South Carolina, is seeking an accomplished healthcare executive to serve as its next Vice President, Quality & Safety Operations. With 19 hospitals, nearly 4,000 employed providers, and approximately $7 billion in annual revenue, Prisma Health is nationally recognized for its commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and improving the health of the communities it serves. 
 
This is a unique opportunity to help shape quality and safety strategy across a large, complex, and rapidly evolving health system. Partnering closely with the Chief Quality Officer and reporting to the EVP, Chief Clinical Officer, the VP will lead system-wide efforts in quality, patient and team member safety, accreditation, regulatory readiness, patient advocacy, and infection prevention. The successful leader will play a pivotal role in advancing high reliability, strengthening operational performance, and driving measurable improvements in patient outcomes. 
 
The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare leader with a track record of success in quality and safety operations within a complex health system or hospital environment. They will bring deep expertise in accreditation, survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement, coupled with the ability to influence across a highly matrixed organization and inspire high-performing teams.
